Thanks again to the excellent Web Worker Daily article about Outlook efficiency to point me to something which could save me days of time.

Xobni (pronounced Zob-Nee) is a plug in for outlook. Whilst I’ve switched my calendar to Google, work email is still on Outlook and I spend a lot of time searching for emails. Google desktop helps to some extent, but it can still take me a while to find.

Enter Xobni.

I can’t tell you any more at the moment, I’m waiting for a beta invite and despite their promise of a ‘hot link’, I’ve not received one yet.

I’m embarrased to say that it took Bill Gates to inform me that Xobni is, of course, Inbox backwards.
